The Respiratory Therapy Department at Russell Regional Hospital is here to assist you with your Cardio-pulmonary needs. Both inpatient and outpatient services are available.

 

Inpatient services include aerosol and MDI treatments, overnight and continuous pulse oximetry, non-invasive bi-level ventilation, arterial blood gases, incentive spirometry, and chest physiotherapy.

 

Outpatient services offered include performing EKGs, halter monitors, cardiac stress tests, pulmonary function studies, and aerosol treatments.

 

The Respiratory Therapy Department is also involved in patient education about various lung diseases such as; COPD, asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, and cystic fibrosis, as well as smoking cessation counseling.
