Russell Regional Hospital provides Emergency Services to the Russell community and surrounding communities. Complete with two trauma rooms, a treatment room, and a triage room. A comfortable waiting area for family and friends is available with TV, phone, restroom, and vending machine.

Healthcare professionals are staffed to handle a multitude of situations from minor injuries to major trauma. We work with various transport services to fly patients by helicopter or fixed wing to a Level I Trauma Center if needed. All RN’s who work in the Emergency Room are certified in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course). We also have a physician on call 24/7 to cover the Emergency Room. Emergency room visits average over 2,400 per year.
