Emily joined the Russell Regional Hospital Rehabilitation Department in 2022 as an Occupational Therapist, directly after graduating from college. Emily attended the University of Kansas, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Health in 2019. She then went on to Cox College in Springfield, MO where she received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Emily graduated from Cox College in 2021 and has been practicing for more than 4 years.

Some of Emily’s experience comes from briefly working in Kansas City at a post-acute rehabilitation center. She then brought that knowledge back to RRH in 2024 where she feels right at home. Emily enjoys working in rural health care for the sense of community and one on one time with her patients.

Emily is a Hays, KS native. She is engaged to her Fiancé and they are currently planning a wedding for September, 2026. In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on the Kansas Jayhawks.
