Alex joined the Russell Regional Hospital Rehabilitation Department in 2016 as a Physical Therapist Assistant while she was still pursuing a Physical Therapy degree. She has since obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from Kansas State University in 2018, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2021.

Alex has 5 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant and 5 years as a Physical Therapist. With the knowledge she has gained over those 10 years, Alex takes an individual approach with her patient care. Rather than just treating a diagnosis, Alex will address each patient’s unique goals and different lifestyles to get them back to doing the things they love. Getting to know her patients through this approach has made her successful in the outcome of her treatment plans.

Alex grew up right here in Russell, KS. Outside of work, she stays very busy with her husband and 2 children. Together, they raise show pigs for 4-H and FFA kids throughout the Midwest.
