Housekeeper

Communicate with persons of various backgrounds, tactfully and courteously.

Follow housekeeping schedules throughout the Hospital using established policies and   procedures.

Clean and empty wastebaskets.

Dust furniture, fixtures, window ledges, door and door frames, etc.

Clean and sanitize patient care areas as per established policies and procedures.

Dry mop and wet mop floors.

Stock and maintain adequate levels of paper towel, toilet tissue, and the hand soap   in all dispensers through the hospital.

Clean and restock Housekeeping cart at the end of each shift.

Be helpful and courteous to patients, residents, visitors, and fellow employees.

Operate   heavy equipment when performing assigned duties such as: spray buffing hard surface floors, shampooing carpets, etc.

Understand and follow hospital's isolation policies and procedures.

Understand thoroughly the appropriate use and measurement of housekeeping chemicals.

Show up to work on time and to take no more than the allotted time for lunches and   breaks.

Adhere to established Hospital Policies and Procedures.

Deliver flowers and plants from the Admitting area to the correct Nursing station.
