Russell Regional Hospital Announces Assistant D.O.N.

Russell Regional Hospital is pleased to announce that Jewel Mosier has accepted the new role as Assistant Director of Nursing at RRH. Jewel will manage the Main Street Manor, (MSM), team and facilitate communication between residents, families, and medical care providers. As Assistant Director of Nursing at RRH, Jewel will assist in the management of the nursing team. Both roles include budget reporting, maintaining high standards of patient and resident care, patient data, and medical records.

Starting her healthcare career in 2010 as a CNA/CMA during high school, Jewel continued to work in healthcare while earning her LPN in 2020 and RN, ADN in 2023. Jewel is currently attending Fort Hays State University to receive her BSN. A team member of Main Street Manor since 2020, Jewel is familiar with both MSM and RRH policies, workforce, patients and residents. Organizational and time management skills, mixed with enhancing leadership skills while still supporting the nursing role is what led Jewel to apply for the position. Jewel and her husband live in Russell with their 3 beautiful children. When away from work, Jewel enjoys spending time with her family and cooking.

I have developed a love for every resident at MSM as both residents and staff are like a second family to me.
