Russell Regional Hospital provides Emergency Services to the people of Russell and the surrounding communities. We have a newly remodeled area with two trauma rooms, a treatment room, and a triage room. A comfortable waiting area for family and friends is available with TV, phone, restroom and vending machine.

We handle a multitude of situations from minor injuries to major trauma. We work with various transport services to fly patients by helicopter or fixed wing to a Level I Trauma Centers if needed. All RNís who work in the Emergency Room are certified in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), ACLS (advanced cardiac life support), PALS (pediatric advanced life support) and TNCC (trauma nurse core course). We have a physician on call 24/7 to cover the Emergency Room. The emergency room visits average over 2400 per year.
